HK-250GT
I got mine a while ago. It doesn't come with a build manual, so I downloaded one. I also made use of the build videos on www.myrcguides.com. Keep in mind that this kit comprises mostly of metal parts, so I would recommend a complete strip down and rebuild using blue thread-locker on all screws that turn into metal.
I replaced some of the stock parts during the build with genuine Align parts i.e. the feathering shaft and the tail drive belt. The rest remains the same. The stock plastic blades are also still in use. I tried some carbon ones but switched back to the plastic ones after 2 flights.
Once the blade tracking is set correctly, this little heli flies really well and stable. I have only used it outdoors and it will handle light breezes. It's really good to see in flight, especially if one fits an Align canopy. I had most spectators fooled into thinking it was an Align bird.
My setup for this one:
Motor: Turnigy L2508A-3500 Brushless Heli Motor (200w)
ESC: Turnigy AE-25A Brushless ESC
Servos x4: Corona DS-919MG on cyclic and tail rotor
Gyro: Assan GA-250 Mems
Batteries: Turnigy Nano-Tech 850mah / 3S 25C. Good for about 8mins of sport flying.
In conclusion I can say that this little heli is really good value for money and performs very well.
I have every heli in the Hobbyking range and this one is still my favourite.
