Product reviews
Positive rethink for this item
For some time now I've wanted the freedom and safety of charging batteries on my kitchen counter and not in my car (unless I'm at the field) and getting a power supply set-up seemed both expensive and a whole lot of work. So... I've been eyeing this item for some time but really poor reviews on HK left me a little dubious about its quality.

Well I finally decided to give it a go and I purchased one. It arrived on Friday and that evening I charged 2X1500mAh, 2X1300mAh, 3X1000mAh and 3X610mAh batteries one after the other. (My charger is a Turnigy Accucel 6 which I think is the best thing in that price range and out performs non Turnigy chargers at 3X the price).

I charged the 1500 - 1000mAh at 1.0 Amp and the 610's at .6 Amps and so far all is well with the unit which at no time ran hot but most importantly I didn't have to go running to the garage every 5 minutes.

I must point out that I cut the plug supplied and fitted a South African 3point plug. I thought the wires were a little on the thin side but with a 1Amp draw I don't expect this to be a problem

I hope this inexpensive little item continues to perform and I'll post if it should suddenly give-up...
