Great Price Great Quality
Thanx Wifly for making RC Helis available for us to enjoy at this low low price!
For the price I want to say the quality is top notch!
I had one problem and that was that on the head assembly there was a little screw that did not have thread at the end. Problem is it aint the same as any of the spare screws. It only has thread on the end of the screw. Dont know what the part its called that it holds together.
I build mine on one of the build revies found on the internet. Makes it real easy and quick.
I must say for such a small heli there is alot of room for the servos and electronics. I have my big turnigy RX in it and also quite a big Gyro! All fits nicely!
Id like to see more of the mid size screws in the kit as at the end I ran out of the proper lenght screws. You just cant use the short screws. They wont hold your heli together for long.
Then I added the 4500KV motor that Wifly sells. It was a pain to mount and mesh but managed it. Just be prepared for that.
Regarding the tail boom and tail box I had no issues. It went together well and Iv hovered it and the belt does not loose tension! I think that every kit might have its own "issues" because of mass production!
But in the end Id rather buy 3 of these kits than a Trex. Then I have more parts too! And one can slowly upgrade this until its basically HK450 Pro spec!
Hope this help some future buyers! Dont even think twice about buying it! I have spent R900 on it now including battery and ESC but got a free Gyro.
Its real cheap and alot better than a contra rotating heli! Just more possibilities!

First heli
Okay so im new to flying heli's and bought the cheapest i can find, because in the event of a crash its not that big of a knock on my bank account.
There are how ever a few things that needs to be done:
1: You WILL have to go trough EVERY single bolt and screw and make sure they are tight and fixed with tread locker.
2: I had a problem with the o-rings inside the head assembly the hole were to big so the feathering shaft was not a tight fit, causing a MASSIVE vibration, i replaced them with new ones.
3: This one gave me a hell of a time, the tail rotor boom holder kept on loosing its clamp on the boom holder itself.
Here is what i did, you have to disassemble the holder and place it on a piece of sand paper and sand it down on both sides, you want to sand the inserts down also but not to much as you WILL end up with the same problem i had, i took off to much and end up stripping 4 of the inserts, if you do this you have 1 of 1 options that worked for me: you have to drill a hole trough the insert about 2.3mm and press fit a tooth pick with super glue in there, then with only the cap screw make the new "tread" for this hole, they fit very tight so i don't think they will strip again, but if you can just buy a new holder it will save you A LOT of time and frustration.
I will test it soon and see if every thing holds up will keep you posted.

Heli Kit
Very handy kit to have for spares, specially at this price. A pity the rotor head is made of plastic, but what else to expect for this low price.
Body is carbon fibre. Servo mounts in body is slightly different compared to the Aluminum body. More space for the servo wire to pass on both sides, making it more user friendly.
Landing skids are plastic, but seems very flexible for the unexpected hard landing.
